Rick has nearly 20 years of experience in government and communications and 15 years as a state lobbyist in Texas. He oversees all business, financial and general operations at FORMA Public Affairs.  Rick has extensive experience working with a diverse group of private clients, non-profits and corporations on a variety of issues.  

His decades of experience in strategic communications includes work with the property development industry, gaming and casino, county mutual insurers, newspapers, tort reform, electronic weapons manufacturer, telecommunications, automotive, education reform, school districts, counties and municipalities.  Prior to co-founding FORMA, he served as the first Inter-Governmental Affairs Officer for the City of El Paso representing municipal interests at the local, state and federal level under two Mayoral administrations. He also served as Legislative Director for a member of the Texas House.

Rick is a native Texan and received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso
